New Family

I turned my head to see the leader walking and was a foot away from me. “DON’T YOU EVER DO SOMETHING THAT STUPID AGAIN, YOU SHOULD NEVER FACE OFF WITH A CCC MEMBER, ALL YOU CAN DO IS RUN!!!” I wanted to fight back but the feeling of the wounds was still affecting my body, I then heard Elizabeth and Drac walked in and said to the leader “he was defending our daughter I think you can make an exception this once!” the leader looked at me and then looked back to the parents and said “I am sorry but she cannot be trusted,” it didn’t take a genius to figure out where this was going…

I stumbled to my feet and limped to my room, I grabbed my suitcase that was pre packed from when I wanted to leave because of the other family giving me grief. As I walked out I noticed there was no Melissa, I threw my case by the front door and went to her room. To my shock she wasn’t there but I saw a note on the bed, I opened it and a picture fell on the floor, I read the note saying, “take one of our people we will take one of yours” I picked up the picture and in shock and disbelief I saw Melissa on her knees and two CCC members in white balaclava’s holding long swords at her neck, I ran straight from her room and to Drac, without haste I gave him the picture and said “I have to save her, where is the assassin?” Drac looked at me and directed me to her, once we arrived at the cell; I quickly unshackled the girl and said “I am taking you back to where you belong! Where is your HQ?!” the girl laughed and spoke for the first time saying “you won’t get in even with me, consider that girl dead.” Drac then smiled and said “that’s all I need!” he then placed his hand on her head and read her mind with a fine tooth comb, he then looked at me and said “go to the town square and kick the fountain! It will open to their base, I will gather some people to help but you must hurry!” I wasted no time and sprinted with all my power to get to the town square.

As I got there the assassin looked at me and said “why?!” as I booted the fountain I turned to her and said “she made me, and I love her to my core!” at the stairway opened I could sense Melissa, I looked down at my wrist and saw what looked like a tattoo of a chain developing, I picked up the girl and ran down the stairs, as I reached the bottom I hit a set of iron doors, I banged on them and placed the assassins head by the peeping hole, the guard then opened the door thinking it was just her, and I walked in behind her, at this point I was furious, as I got in their line of sight all I heard them scream was, kill the vampire!!! I knew they were on about me, I turned and went in to intimidation mode, and I looked them all in the eye and said “I am not here to kill anyone I just want to give your member back! They all looked at each other and then turned to me, I faintly heard in the background behind a giant iron door, “Louise… help…me… p-please!” it was soon drowned out by the sound of a gunshot, I turned to see that the assassin had been shot, I then saw that they were all running at me screaming and shouting, I realised trying to reason with these barbaric idots was out of the question, I decided to just knock them out because I still had sympathy for human kind, I was doing so quite easily until someone opened the iron door and dragged Melissa out who was chained to a cross, I turned and felt a well of evil and anger well up through my soul.

I stared at this cross and screamed in pure rage “YOU CALL OUR KIND INHUMAN?! YOU KNOW WHO ISNT HUMAN?! PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!!!” a giant cylinder of red black fire consumed me and as the flamed snuffed out I noticed my flame sword had taken a more physical form and had Chinese encryption on it, I looked straight at the guard who was holding a blade at Melissa and said “one chance, ONE CHANCE!! You have one chance to drop the sword or I WILL KILL YOU!!!” he stared at me and leaned back as if he was going to swing, in a light speed burst I was at his blade, as I placed my hand on it, the blade melted and burned his hand, he then screamed in pain and I was no longer in the mood to let him live, I stabbed my sword through his chest and he disintegrated to absolute nothingness I turned to Melissa as I changed back to normal, I broke the chains and lowered her down I couldn’t control myself then and burst in to tears.

I sobbed on the floor as Melissa grabbed me and cried “thank you Louise, thank you so much!” Our sobbing session was disrupted by the Leader, Elizabeth and Drac bursting through the iron doors, expecting a huge fight, but to their surprise they were all defeated, at this point I had passed out from exhaustion and was awoken back in the doctors room, where I was covered in bandages, I looked at the doctor and said “is Melissa ok?” he just looked at me, smiled and walked away, I laid back down on the bed and heard the door open quietly, I turned my head to see Melissa was perfectly fine, she didn’t have a scratch on her, I smiled and said “good to see your healed.” Melissa giggled and said “good to see you are awake, you’ve been out for 2 weeks.”

As we were talking the leader walked in and said “Louise, I believe I made a serious misjudgement about you and for that I am truly sorry, can you forgive this two thousand year old fool?” I looked and said “I always forgive sir.”
