The contract part 13

After looking through the archives of Shirosaki's fights I came to my conclusion, I needed to trap him by hanging him with the soul chain that is my best bet at killing him, I decided that I would go collect a few souls for the ferryman, so I got my scythe and went to the white room and decided to get a long list of people to collect, while reading through the list it came to my attention that Rosie was on the list.

"Err Ferryman is this some sort of bloody joke?! My Rosie is nowhere near dead he then looked at the list and said "this isn't your girlfriend Louise this is a different Rosie who lives in Australia now hurry along you have one hundred souls to collect within the next twenty four hours otherwise I will be add four hundred of your debt, I wasted no time and got to work first on the list was a boy called Jack in the UK, as I arrived I saw that he hung himself and his soul slipped out of his body " decided to make my entrance somewhat scary for this kid seeing as he would end his own life. I went in to anger stage and rose from the floor "JACK YOUR TIME IS UP!!!" I shouted. "I don't think so you have to touch me to die don't you?" he said trying to act smart.

I looked at him and said "ohh yeah" and clasped my hand around his throat, "is this enough to show you that your dead?!" I said as I moved his head upwards to show him his hanging body. "I- I didn't mean to kill myself I was possessed!" he said in a moment of true fear, I stared at him in a look of annoyance, "look Jack I don't have time to be doing this so either come with me peacefully or come with me on the end of my scythe." I said as I moved the scythe across his field of view. He took a big gulp and said "ok I will come peacefully." I let him go patted him on the head and said "good boy now lets go the ferryman is waiting for you." I walked him through the portal and said "here you go ferryman I will be back in 1 minute."

3 hours later I had collected 79 souls and killed 20 rouge demons in the process as I got through the portal with a couple who killed each other in a row I noticed Jackie was at the white room, I called her attention and she waved and said "ahh hello Louise what are you doing here?" I showed her my list and said "just trying to lower my debt only have 6,000 souls left." She giggled and said "do you want me to tag along maybe we can chat on the way." I smiled and shouted back "sure thing it gets lonely talking to mortals and their life problems, even after death they can moan about the rash on the back of the neck isn't that right Nodo-san?" and with that Jackie was in her grim reaper form and ready to go, come to think of it my old life seemed to be slowly slipping from my mind, all antics I got up to, all the games I use to go and watch, and all the girls who mace me every time I asked them out, I took a sigh and Jackie stopped and said "what's the matter Louise?"

I looked up and said "I miss being a boy you know." She sighed aswell and said "I know what you mean Luke." I stalled and said "Wait you were a boy?!" she went in to her basic form and said yea, it was 1942 and I was a British army sergeant, I was helping my men through a battlefield when I got shot through the head, I was certainly dead and from memory I was in the white room I was welcomed by the ferryman, he offered the contract and luckily I was a die hard catholic so I was fluent in Latin, I read the contract three times over to make sure I read it right, after reading through it the final time I signed it and he escorted me in to a hall of empty bodies I was restricted to female and each one had a debt of so many soul, the more attractive they where the higher the debt, I then came across this body which had a 20.5K debt to it and I seemed to feel it was me, I chose this body and he knocked my soul out of my old body in to my new one. Once I opened my eyes in my new body, everything felt really different, what was there was gone, and what wasn't there was, just before the ferryman incinerated my old body, I took this old badge of mine to remind me of my old days." Jackie then showed me this old badge which looked like something you see outside a crown court. "Well we better get to work them souls don't collect themselves." I said as I cracked my knuckles and walked to the other side of the portal to see a ghost standing over his body saying to himself "d-did I just die?" Me and Jackie both looked at each other, turned back to the man who was taking his wallet out of his dead body and said "Hey put that back were you got it from your dead now you won't need it!"

He just stood there staring at us and said "but you will never know." I face palmed my self and said "your dead you will be going to the afterlife why do you think you will need money? The afterlife has its own currency you know!" he just stood there in shock that I could get pissed off, I then walked up and said "look if you come with us you will get a good word from me and the grim reaper, if you don't I will stick this through you and drag you there, if you still put up a fight, grim will take you straight to hell, with that the man walked to the white room with us.

After I got all the souls done I walked back to the white room where I saw Rosie and Masami, I looked at them both and said "what are you guys doing here at this time of night?" Rosie slowly walked up to me, something didn't seem right her eyes seemed glazed over and she was holding a small sickle, I could see tears slowly pouring from her eyes and heard her say slowly, "run Louise Masami has control over me" as got right in front of me she swung the sickle which missed my stomach by about an inch, I ignored Rosie for a second and went straight to Masami who sat there giggling I went in to Tertius Gradus form and in an instant Masami was the same, she stood there and said in her mocking voice "you think your going to kill me?!" something didn't seem right her bracelet wasn't there and the grin was almost inhuman, I grabbed her by the face, ripped open a portal to our training room and flung her in there, were I can fight her without worrying about Rosie being hurt. "Dammit Masami what are you trying to pull?" I shouted as she got to her feet she ran at me full pelt which seemed slow for someone of her power and stabbed through the side of my coat, I looked at her again to realise in the training room light she seemed very pale and her eyes were yellow instead of red, "fuck the playing about I am going to find out who you are now!!" I released a soul chin around her neck and stuck it inside the wall, I then added one that went through her legs and another that went through her arms, normally people scream in pain with this but she remained quiet, as is her nerves were all dead.

I slowly raised her to the roof and said "right whoever you are get out of Masami's form and in to your own or I will hang you here for the ferryman to collect, with that she laughed and said "go ahead kill me now… DO IT… DO IT!!!" I knew whatever this creature was, hanging it wont kill it so I released the arms and let it hang there as it stayed there I grabbed the soul chains and made the retract as much as possible, pulling this thing towards the floor. ( Note: the training room is 50tf high so she would be torn apart like a Christmas cracker in no time at all) as I kept on pulling the real Masami opened a portal with the ferryman and I heard her shout Louise your going to kill your opposition for next week! I stopped my attempt to stretch answers out of her, as I slowly lowered Shirosaki it said "your girlfriend is easily manipulated, you know that Louise?"

In a fit of pure anger I thrusted my blade in to its shoulder and slowly cut him down to the stomach and said in his face "next week I will make you my personal bitch you understand me?!!!" I could tell it was now in true pain as its blood poured from its body, I made sure it got the message and lunged a chain straight through its foot and said "this chain is the only thing that is keeping you alive, sometime this week, if I get pissed off over something I will click my fingers and that chain will disappear. When that happens your dead understand?!" I then walked in to the white room where Rosie was out cold and bleeding "R-Rosie are you ok?!" I noticed that when she collapsed the sickle went in her chest, oh no… please no... NO!!! My bracelet started to heat up and I saw both Jackie and the ferryman walk out of a portal, "please you got to help her please!" I said begging them to save her "please make her a contract to save her life I cant loose her!!!" the ferryman then picked up a piece of paper and said "are there any preferences you want I turned around and said "just don't make her change bodies and pass her debt on to me." The ferryman paused and said "p-pass her debt on to you?! Her debt will be over 50,000 souls are you sure?! I nodded my head and signed it on her behalf seeing as she was not awake at the time, once I finished I noticed her wounds healed up and she awoke with a bracelet on her wrist. I quickly ran to her and said "oh my god I thought I lost you!" she sat up and said "what happened Louise, all I remember is Masami coming to the house, then nothing.

After explaining what happened she offered to help me clear the debt I had built up, The ferryman happily agreed to this and gave us both a hug and said "you two are destined to be together you know that?" we looked at each other and smiled, we then leaned in to each other and kissed.
